Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting East Knox Bulldogs (Howard, OH), 64-49 in a non-league contest.

The Generals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH). The Trojans go into the Inter-Valley contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Tuscarawas Valley topped Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH), 42-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 8. East Knox will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH).
