The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the O'Donnell Eagles (O'Donnell, TX) and the host Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX), observed O'Donnell's basketball team knock off Garden City by a score of 64-48.

The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Sands prevailed over All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX), 58-53, in a non-league battle.

The Bearkats now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roby for a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. Garden City will meet a Lions squad coming off a 65-49 non-league win over Paducah (Paducah, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
