The Granada Islamic School Eagles (Santa Clara, CA) basketball edged the host KIPP Esperanza Eagles (Palo Alto, CA), 51-47 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Apostles Lutheran for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. Granada Islamic School will play a Falcons team coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Cindy Avitia (San Jose, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, KIPP Esperanza falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host East Palo Alto Academy (East Palo Alto, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-2. East Palo Alto Academy won 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Waldorf (Mountain View, CA)
