The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) and the visiting Lee's Summit West Titans (Lee's Summit, MO), observed Kickapoo's basketball team knock off Lee's Summit West by a score of 46-34.

The Chiefs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Helias (Jefferson City, MO). The Crusaders enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Helias knocked off Central (Springfield, MO), 74-36, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Springs South for a Freelance battle on Friday, December 12. Lee's Summit West will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 83-67 non-league loss to Oak Park (Kansas City, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-2.
