California High School Basketball - Lincoln can't hold off Merced

Merced Bears (Merced, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA), 69-65 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Merced advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 0-2. Pleasant Valley lost 76-56 in their recent non-league contest against Antelope (Antelope, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Buffaloes go into the match with a 2-2 record after their 82-52 non-league loss to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA).
