The Pirates (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Princeton (Princeton, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Princeton lost by West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 74-55, in a non-league battle.

The Westerners now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Mesquite for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. Lubbock will battle a Wranglers team coming off a 60-54 non-league loss to Plano West (Plano, TX). The Wranglers record now stands at 7-2.
