In Friday's non-league bout, the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) basketball team crushed the host Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), by a score of 54-29.

Next, the Warriors encounter the St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE) in a Independent Schools test, on Tuesday, December 9. Sanford will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
