In Friday's non-league contest, the host Murphy Panthers basketball squad scored a decisive 81-51 victory over the Tate Aggies.

With the victory, Murphy upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL) to face the Leopards in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. The Leopards enter the match with a record of 2-5. Mobile Christian won 60-33 in their recent non-league match against St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL)

The Aggies now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Forest for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. Tate will face a Eagles squad coming off a 67-53 league win over Escambia (Pensacola, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
