In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Oak Park Eagles basketball team scored a close 48-45 triumph over the Poly Parrots.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Providence (Burbank, CA). The Pioneers go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Providence was nipped by Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA), 63-41, in a non-league outing.
The Parrots (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA). The Minutemen enter the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Maranatha was nipped by Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA), 62-58, in a non-league outing.
