Texas High School Basketball - Pharr-San Juan-Alamo bests Rio Hondo

The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX) basketball toppled the host Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX), 45-36 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will play a team coming off a 43-37 non-league loss to Brazosport Christian (Lake Jackson, TX). The record now stands at 79-399.

The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Mercedes overcame Donna North (Donna, TX), 66-29, in a non-league test.
