The Tabernacle Christian Conquerors basketball squad (Hickory, NC), was nudged 65-59 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Vandalia Christian Vikings (Greensboro, NC)

With the victory, Vandalia Christian advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, December 15. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 10-1.

The Conquerors now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cramerton Christian Academy for a NCCSA AA West Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, December 9. Tabernacle Christian will encounter a Crusaders team coming off a 40-39 non-league loss to Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-7.
