The Balmorhea Bears basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys to 28 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wink for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. Balmorhea will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-34 non-league loss to Slaton (Slaton, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.

The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Dawson (Welch, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record.
