In Friday's non-league contest, the host Comanche Indians basketball team scored a good 41-29 triumph over the Chapin Huskies.

The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX). The Buckaroos go into the 3A Region I District 8 contest with a 1-7 record.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 6. Chapin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 62-45 non-league loss to Gunter (Gunter, TX).
