Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Christian nips Tanque Verde

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) and the host Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ), observed Desert Christian's basketball team edge Tanque Verde by a score of 37-34.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ). The Dust Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Santa Cruz Valley was tipped by San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ), 48-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, December 8. Tanque Verde will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Vipers enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 54-12 league loss to Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ).
