Texas High School Basketball - Holmes knocked off by New Braunfels

In Friday's non-league test, the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) basketball team were winner over the visiting Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), by a tally of 61-51.

The Unicorns now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. New Braunfels will play a Chargers team coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Holmes falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Huskies host Taft (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge on Wednesday, December 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Taft won 51-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Manor New Tech (Manor, TX)
