The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix (Memphis, TN) and the host Kirby Cougars (Memphis, TN), observed Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering's basketball team edge Kirby by a margin of 38-35.

The Phoenix (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Memphis, TN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record.
