In Friday's non-league bout, the Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) basketball team edged the host Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN), by a tally of 78-73.
The Skippers now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chaska for a AAAA Section 2 bout on Tuesday, December 9. Minnetonka will play a Hawks team coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers come into the AAAA Section 1 test with a 0-1 record.
