The Marion Wolves basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings to 18 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa City for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. Marion will confront a Little Hawks team coming off a 56-47 non-league win over Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Hawks record now stands at 3-0.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Independence, IA). The Mustangs enter the WAMAC - West outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Independence routed Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 53-47, in a non-league outing.
