Texas High School Basketball - Smithson Valley bested by McCollum

McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) backers went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overcome the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 75-62 in a non-league contest.

The Cowboys (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Edinburg was topped by Amarillo (Amarillo, TX), 65-25, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Rangers face the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 6. Smithson Valley will attempt to advance on its 13-3 season record. The Brahmas enter the match with a 12-4 record after their 38-33 non-league loss to Harlan (San Antonio, TX).
