Missouri High School Basketball - Mid-Buchanan nips Rock Port

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mid-Buchanan Dragons basketball team scored a close 42-37 triumph over the Rock Port Blue Jays.

The Dragons (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Penney (Hamilton, MO). The Hornets go into the KCI contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Penney was nudged by Mercer (Mercer, MO), 42-12, in a non-league match.

The Blue Jays now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, December 11. Rock Port will face a Knights squad coming off a 53-37 non-league loss to Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
