In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Northwest Texans basketball team scored a big 55-28 triumph over the Mineral Wells Rams.

The Texans (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against University (Waco, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, University was trounced by Paschal (Fort Worth, TX), 41-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the University Trojans (Waco, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Mineral Wells will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 42-31 non-league loss to Leon (Jewett, TX).
