North Carolina High School Basketball - Veritas Christian Academy can't hold off Pinnacle Classical Academy

Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC), 48-44 in a league contest.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors go into the Western Piedmont contest with a 0-4 record.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 8. Veritas Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 3-4 record after their 35-26 non-league loss to Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC).
