In Friday's non-league contest, the host Baldwin Highlanders basketball team scored a close 39-36 win over the Pine-Richland Rams.
The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Penn-Trafford edged Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 45-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Pine-Richland will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
