Florida High School Basketball - Stranahan bested by Western

Western Wildcats (Davie, FL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 55-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Western betters its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Nova (Davie, FL) to battle the Titans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Nova won 49-45 in their recent non-league contest against Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL)

In their next game, the Mighty Dragons battle the Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 8. Stranahan will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Lightning enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 63-49 non-league win over Blanche Ely (Pompano Beach, FL).
