The Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 42-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cubs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen go into the Heart of Iowa test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Roland-Story got by Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 90-13, in a league test.
The Cadets now own a 0-5 record.
