The Ashe County Huskies basketball team (West Jefferson, NC), dropped 62-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Surry for a 2A Conference 37 battle on Friday, December 9. Wilkes Central will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 98-46 non-league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-0.

The Huskies (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, North Surry beat South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 69-60, in a non-league battle.
