Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 64-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Taos upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Mesa Vista won 77-67 in their recent non-league bout against Dulce (Dulce, NM)

Next up, the Tigers play the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Aztec will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Sundevils come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
