The Brandon/Evansville Chargers basketball team (Brandon, MN), was nudged 66-65 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN)

The Cardinals now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swanville for a A Section 5 battle on Friday, December 9. Upsala will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-70 non-league loss to Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets come into the Freelance battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy edged St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN), 91-49, in a non-league battle.
