Illinois High School Basketball - Breese Central topples Triad

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Triad Knights (Troy, IL), by a count of 50-42.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells go into the Cahokia - Mississippi outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Roxana defeated Southwestern (Piasa, IL), 37-26, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Civic Memorial for a Mississippi Valley outing on Friday, December 9. Triad will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 70-51 non-league win over Gillespie (Gillespie, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
