The Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) basketball nipped the host Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX), 53-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Enid (Enid, OK). The Plainsmen go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Enid was tipped by Choctaw (Choctaw, OK), 62-56, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Midland Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Canyon will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-9.
