The Castleberry Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Mineral Wells Rams to 51 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olney for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Castleberry will meet a Cubs team coming off a 67-25 non-league win over Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 3-7.

The Rams (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Paradise was nudged by Tolar (Tolar, TX), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
