With the victory, Onekama upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Portagers travel to Manistee (Manistee, MI) to play the Chippewas in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Chippewas come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Sabers play the Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars (Big Rapids, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
