The Cranfills Gap Lions basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Gustine Tigers to 29 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iredell for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Cranfills Gap will meet a Dragons team coming off a 40-36 non-league loss to Rising Star (Rising Star, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 2-5.
The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Panther Creek (Valera, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Panther Creek was routed by Gustine (Gustine, TX), 48-33, in a non-league contest.
