Tennessee High School Basketball - Memphis East knocked off by Douglass

The Douglass Red Devils basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Memphis East Mustangs to 48 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Douglass will meet a Purple Wave team coming off a 54-48 non-league win over First Assembly Christian (Cordova, TN). The Purple Wave record now stands at 6-1.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Bartlett ran past Germantown (Germantown, TN), 62-51, in a league contest.
