In Tuesday's non-league outing, the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Family Christian Flames (Baton Rouge, LA), by a count of 62-58.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, East Ascension was tipped by Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA), 60-25, in a non-league outing.
The Flames now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Franklinton for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 8. Family Christian will clash with a Demons squad coming off a 39-38 non-league loss to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Demons record now stands at 3-3.
