Texas High School Basketball - Edison overwhelmed by Seguin

The Seguin Matadors basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Edison Golden Bears to 45 in the Matadors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Matadors now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Judson for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Seguin will battle a Rockets team coming off a 85-74 non-league loss to Johnson (Buda, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 6-5.

The Golden Bears (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against O'Connor (Helotes, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, O'Connor triumphed over Jay (San Antonio, TX), 77-53, in a league contest.
