The Marshall Redhawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Edwardsburg Eddies to 39 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Redhawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harper Creek for a Interstate Eight contest on Friday, December 9. Marshall will battle a Beavers team coming off a 58-32 non-league win over St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 1-0.
The Eddies (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI). The Wildcats enter the Wolverine B contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Three Rivers was defeated by Beatty (Cassopolis, MI), 58-52, in a non-league contest.
