With the victory, Lamar improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Westbury (Houston, TX) to play the Huskies in a 6A Region III District 18 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 2-10.

Next up, the Eagles play the Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Eisenhower will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 59-30 non-league win over Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO).
