The Evergreen Park Mustangs basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Oak Forest Bengals to 57 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Lawn for a South Suburban contest on Thursday, December 8. Evergreen Park will battle a Spartans team coming off a 59-49 league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.

The Bengals (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors enter the South Suburban contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Thornton Fractional North ran past Reavis (Burbank, IL), 68-41, in a league contest.
