Fairfield Lions (Leesburg, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH), 56-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairfield upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Lions host Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets (Fayetteville, OH) in a Southern Hills bout, on Friday, December 9. Whiteoak will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 55-53 league win over Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH).
