The Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI) basketball smashed the visiting Flint Southwestern Academy Knights (Flint, MI), 79-36 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Saginaw will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 58-49 league win over Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-0.
The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against International Academy (Flint, MI). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, International Academy triumphed over Atherton (Burton, MI), 67-50, in a league contest.
