Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX), 72-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Richland upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Royals travel to North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 11-8. North Central Texas Academy won 75-26 in their recent non-league bout against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Oakridge Owls (Arlington, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Fort Worth Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 67-50 non-league win over Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX).
