The Lena-Winslow Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Fulton Steamers to 41 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forreston for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Lena-Winslow will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 56-41 league loss to Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
The Steamers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Warren (Warren, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Warren edged Durand (Durand, IL), 63-46, in a non-league contest.
