The Gonzales Apaches basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Hallettsville Brahmas to 40 in the Apaches non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Apaches now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davenport for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Gonzales will battle a Wolves team coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 7-3.

The Brahmas (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Navarro (Geronimo, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Navarro edged Blanco (Blanco, TX), 73-54, in a non-league contest.
