Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 70-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Powhatan upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Midlothian (Midlothian, VA) to play the Trojans in a Dominion bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Midlothian lost 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Goochland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA).
