The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mineral Springs for a 1A Region 7 contest on Wednesday, December 7. Lafayette County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 54-38 league win over Taylor (Taylor, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dollarway (Pine Bluff, AR). The Cardinals enter the 3A Region 8 contest with a 0-0 record.
