Nebraska High School Basketball - Heartland tops Sutton

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Heartland Huskies (Henderson, NE) and the host Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE), saw Heartland's basketball squad knock off Sutton by a tally of 54-34.

With the victory, Heartland improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Exeter-Milligan (Exeter, NE) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Exeter-Milligan won 45-37 in their recent non-league challenge against East Butler (Brainard, NE)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lincoln Christian Crusaders (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Sutton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
