The St. Thomas Academy Cadets basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Highland Park Scots to 71 in the Cadets league victory on Tuesday.

The Cadets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cretin-Derham Hall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20.

The Scots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hill-Murray edged Twin Cities Academy/Great River (St. Paul, MN), 81-80, in a non-league contest.
