The Hornbeck Hornets basketball team scored 2 points and held the visiting Negreet Indians to 1 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bolton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Hornbeck will play a Bears squad coming off a 70-68 non-league loss to Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
Next up, the Indians play the Castor Tigers (Castor, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Negreet will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 44-41 non-league loss to Saline (Saline, LA).
