Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Legacy Christian Academy Knights (Xenia, OH), 85-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waynesville upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Spartans host Eaton (Eaton, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Eaton lost 75-55 in their recent non-league bout against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH)

Next up, the Knights play the Yellow Springs Bulldogs (Yellow Springs, OH) in a Metro Buckeye bout, on Friday, December 9. Legacy Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 46-44 non-league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH).
